President James T. Wright, Vice

Stubbs and other officials of the Macon,
Dublin and Savannah road were iu the
council chamber at the time of the adop
tion of the report and they were highly
elated over the unanimous action of the

new road for Macon to the sea. The
company says it has $1,000,000 in hand
with which to build the extension and

Testimony.
Washington, May 7.—The industrial
commission today began its May meet
ing, with P. J- McGovern of Atlanta,
chairman of the southern classification
committee, as the first witness.
“Mr. McGovern stated that there are
42~rail and steamship lines in the com
mission and that it covers the territory
south of the Potomac and the Ohio
rivers and east of the Mississippi river.
He said that the organization had bee
effected iu 1899, and he contended that,
except in the items of iron and steel,
the advances in transportation rates haa
been technical rather than real. He de
clared that the commission had no pur
pose of fixing rates on oarload lots so .
to build up the jobbing trade of the
south at the expense of outside points.

Women
The entry into womanhood is a
critical time for a girl. Little men
strual disorders started at that time soon
grow into fatal complications. That
female troubles are filling graveyards
proves this. Wine of Caraui estab
lishes a painless and natural menstrual
flow. When once this important func
tion is started right, a healthy life will
usually follow. Many women, young
and old, owe their lives to Wine of
Cardui. There is nothing like it to
give women freedom from pain and to
fit young women for every duty of life.

have suffered untold pain at menstrual pe
riods for a long time, was nervous, had no
appetite, and lost interest in everything,
in fact was miserable. I have taken four
bottles of Wine of Cardui, with Thedford s

I am entirely cured. 1 cannot express the
thanks I feel for what you have done
