CASA VOLUNTEER TRAINING The
Court Appointed Special Advocate
(CASA) Program of Child Enrichment, Inc.
is looking for volunteers, 21 and older, to
advocate for abused and neglected
children in the juvenile court system.
Volunteers need no experience and will be
provided with specialized training from local
professionals in the social service field.
Participants will learn courtroom procedure
and advocacy skills necessary to become
a CASA volunteer. For more information

Sapp, to Eddie Nelson Sr., son

Miss Sapp is the granddaugh
ter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Solomon Way of Gough and the

Sr. of Waynesboro. She is a
graduate of Burke County Com
prehensive High School and
Augusta Technical College. She
is employed by UPAC of Au
gusta as a nurse.
Mr. Nelson is the grandson of
the late Lucinda Nelson Scurry
of Saluda and the late Mr. and
Mrs. Grady Harp of Saluda. He
graduated from Batesburg-
Leesville High School and is a
United States Army retiree.

Tom and Beulah Bugg of Waynesboro recently celebrated their 60 th wedding anni
versary. They were married August 14,1950 in Augusta. They have four children:
Tommy Bugg married to Jacki; Cheryl, married to George Bell; Laurie, married
to Marshall Norris; and Lisa, married to Byron Brown. They also have eight
grandchildren: Hannah Bugg; Christie and Jennifer Bell; Jillian, Chad, and Trey
Norris; and Tucker and Kendall Brown. The couple celebrated with a beach trip
to Tybee Island with their family. Congratulations!
