Sandra is the daughter of Faye
Phillips and the late Bill Phillips
of Waynesboro. She is the
granddaughter of the late C.A.
and Marie Phillips of
Waynesboro, the late Roy James
of Wrens and the late Clarence
and Maude Beasley of
Thomson.
She is a 1998 graduate of
Burke County High School and
a 2001 graduate of Ken- Busi
ness College, where she earned
an associate’s degree in medi
cal billing.
She is a certified medical
coder with American Academy
of Profession Coders and em
ployed by Physicians Practice
Group in Augusta.
Chris is the son of Christopher
and Barbara Johnson of Aiken,
S.C. He is the grandson of the
late Nondrus and Christine
Johnson of Aiken, the late
Soloman McDuffie of Beaufort,
S.C. and the late Mary McDuffie
Doe of New Ellenton, S.C.
He is a 2000 graduate of

New Springfield Baptist Church will have its annual church

a.m., Sunday, Oct. 9.
The sermon will be delivered by the Rev. Ellis A. Godbee Jr. A
meal and fellowship will follow. Pastor William B. Blount Sr.

Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, at
Maranatha Christian Center, located at 1124 Highway 25 North
in Waynesboro.
Apostles and prophets from throughout the CSRA will deliver
the evening messages. Prophetess Sheryl Jones Dillard of At
lanta will be the guest for Saturday’s service.

Bible Fellowship
Bible Fellowship will host the 53 rd anniversary of The Byrd
Family gospel singers 10 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 9.
The guest speaker will be the Rev. J. Stephen Conn, with mu
sic provided by The Bryd Family, Dusty Aleman (The Singing
Cowboy from Oklahoma), world-renowned pianist Ray Jones and
the BFC singers and musicians.
A free barbecue dinner will be served at noon, and an old fash
ioned afternoon gospel singing will be held at 1:30 p.m.
