EDMUND BURKE ACADEMY
A MESSAGE FROM HEADMASTER GREGG BUNN
JL
It is with great excitement that I welcome, students, staff,
and parents, to the 2016-2017 school year.
At Edmund Burke Academy, we are dedicated to meeting the
needs of every student through individualized instruction and
personalized attention. We believe that an environment designed
to promote Christian values and cooperation between school
and families enables students to grow academically, spiritually,
emotionally, and socially.
Edmund Burke Academy serves students from K4 through
12 th grade so faculty and staff members are invested in each
student from start to finish. It is a pleasure to watch children
develop into young adults who are contributing positively to their communities.
Open House is scheduled for August 5. I’m looking forward to seeing returning
families and meeting our newest Spartans.
Student success is the goal of every staff member, and I urge parents to visit us often
and stay connected to your children’s teachers. Together we can provide each student
the experiences he or she needs to have a productive and meaningful childhood while
preparing for a successful future.
I am honored to be a Spartan and am delighted to welcome you to another exciting
year.

FAITH CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
A MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL AMY GRUBB
How have you spent your summer? Swimming? Working?
Hanging out with friends? Vacationing? Fishing?
We plan on fishing this year at FCA.
Our theme verse for the year is Matthew 4:19: "Follow
me and I will make you fishers of men." That's right. We are
going to learn to be fishers of men and share God's plan of
salvation with our community.
The teachers, staff, and board members of Faith Christian
Academy have been working hard to prepare classrooms and
curriculum for the upcoming school year. We are all looking
forward to seeing returning Eagles and getting to know our
many new students in grades K3- 12.
There are fantastic opportunities for learning and growth at Faith Christian Academy
this year. In addition to the college preparatory curriculum and AP classes all ready
in place, we are expanding our dual enrollment partnership with Augusta Technical
College for our high school students. We are continuing to grow our athletic pro
gram to include cross country, basketball, tennis, and archery. Students will have
opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities such as music, art, drama,
computer applications, journalism. Beta Club, and 4-H. We have expanded our music
program for pre-K through middle school and are looking forward to sharing another
middle school musical performance with the community. In all of these educational,
athletic, and extracurricular opportunities, we strive to put God first and to give Him
the glory for all that we do.
Isaiah 40:31 tells us: “Those who hope in the FORD will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will ran and not grow weary, they will walk
and not be faint.” Keep those words in mind as we begin a new school year! I am so
thankful for all that God has done for our school as we hope in Him. He has blessed
our school with exceptional teachers, loving parents and grandparents, dedicated
board members, and wonderful students. I am looking ahead to helping all of our
FCA Eagles to soar this year as we hope in the Ford.
All right. Eagles, let's get ready to do some fishing!
