Mobley, Reyna capture classic
The 28th Annual Rotary
Golf Classic was won by the
team of Carter Mobley of
Waynesboro and Dylan Reyna
of Brunswick.
The duo had a 36-hole score
of 120 (24 under par). Finish
ing second, 3 strokes off the
pace, was the team of Chad
Roberts and Joey Pittman, who
won the event last year.
This was a Two-Man Lau
derdale format with 176 par
ticipants and took place Aug.
29-30.
According to tournament
chairman Clifford Lewis, the
purpose of the Classic is to
raise funds for various projects.
“This tournament enables our
club to continue to support
local programs, provide schol
arships, leadership training
for youth, maintain the Ward-
low Community Building and
many other Rotary initiatives,”
he said. “Our continued suc
cess with the event is because
of our many sponsors, par
ticipants and the many other
volunteers.”
