BURKE EMA REPORT
The Burke County Emergency Management Agency
responded to 98 patients’ calls during the week ending
Nov. 22. Of those, 61 resulted in transports, including
31 to Augusta hospitals. Thirty of the transports were
determined to be emergencies and 31 were non-emergent.
The agency also answered 17 bre calls during the week.
They included two brush/grass fires, one fire/smoke alarm,
one power line down, seven rescues, two motor vehicle
accident rescues, one public service calls and two unspeci
fied calls.
