BURKE EMA REPORT
The Burke County Emergency Management Agency
responded to 109 patients’ calls during the week ending
Nov. 29.
Of those, 72 resulted in transports, including 44 to Augusta
hospitals. Forty three of the transports were determined to
be emergencies and 29 were non-emergent.
The agency also answered 20 bre calls during the week.
They included one authorized controlled bum, one fire/smoke
alarm, nine rescues, two vehicle fires, two public service calls
and five unspecified calls.
