Safety = happy meals
The Waynesboro Police Department conducted a road block on Tuesday afternoon, and those
who practiced safe driving got a special kind of ticket — a voucher for a free meal at McDonald’s.
According to CpI. Gary Jenkins, officers handed out several dozen of the vouchers and plan to do
so again in the near future. “Just like poor driving decisions can lead to trouble, those who make
wise choices should be rewarded,” he said. Pictured at CpI. Tyrone Brihm with Alden Stewart.
