AMERICA S FAVORITE CIRCUS IS COMING TO YOUR AREA
Queensborough National
Bank is providing a new and
convenient way for customers
to bank using Interactive teller
machines.
The new technology allows
customers to interact with tell
ers via live video streaming to
make deposits, cash checks,
make loan and credit card
payments and to withdraw or
transfer funds. Exact change
is available for check cashing,
according to an April 22 press
release.
“We realize that people are
busier than ever. It’s impera
tive we make sure customers
can take care of their banking
needs on their own time,”
Chief Operations Officer Kim
Kirk said in the release.
The interactive teller ma
chines are installed at branches
on Fury’s Ferry Road, Walton
Schools
students with contact
information for school
personnel and indicating the
best process for working up
the chain of command in
remedying specific issues,
including the schools’ bullying
tip line.

community and business

in Augusta and in Sanders-

The program is made up of
courses that can be tailored to
meet the needs of companies,
churches, families, organiza
tions and individuals.
The goal is to empower in
dividuals with the knowledge
and tools to improve their
financial health.

need to promote non-technical

schools. He also wants to see
an emphasis on teaching soft
skills.
The school system considers
stakeholder engagement an
important part of its success.

Plant sale
The Burke County Master Gardners will hold their annual
plant sale Friday, April 30, from 3-6 p.m. at the Southern Bank
Pavilion, 855 Fiberty St., Waynesboro.
March for Jesus
The 2nd annual Burke County March for Jesus will begin at
12 noon, May 8, in Waynesboro. The march will start at Manau
Fane and end at Southern Bank. The theme for this year’s march
is “Victory in Jesus.” There will be Praise & Worship, arts &
crafts, food, and a time for fellowship.
50th Class Anniversary
All 1971 graduates of SGAHigh School and Waynesboro High
School are invited to join in observing its 50th class anniversary
9:25 a.m. Saturday, May 22 at the BCHS Stadium.
