Deloris Jones entered into rest on Tuesday, April 20,2021.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 1,2021 at
Mt. Olive Memorial Garden at
11:00 a.m.
She is survived by her love

Campbell, Martha Ann (Rufus)

Lee (Jack) Turner, Emma Jean
(Jason) Royal, Alberta (Robert) King; eleven grandchildren,
nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing at Phinazee & Son Funeral Home
on Friday, April 29,2021 from 3-6 p.m. Please adhere to CDC
guidelines and wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Susan Kirchner Johnston ,71, entered into rest Tuesday, April
20,2021. She was a daughter of the late Roy Kirchner, Jr. and
Helen Chandler Kirchner. She was a member of Sardis United
Methodist Church. Susan loved art, gardening, camping, and
traveling. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, and
aunt. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by
two husbands, Glenn Bragg, Sr. and Cecil “Butch” Johnston;
and two sons, Glenn Bragg, Jr. and Damion C. Bragg.
She is survived by her mother; two sisters, Jennifer Chapman
(Glenn) of North Augusta and Karen K. Jenkins of Sardis; a
brother, Roy Kirchner III of Sardis; three nieces, Brooke Jen
kins (Dean) of Sardis, Caitlin Chapman of Charlotte NC, and
Sarah Chapman of North Augusta; and one nephew, Kason
Jenkins of Sardis.
Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April
23 at St. Marks Cemetery in Sardis with Rev. Steve Sirmons
officiating.
Remembrances may be made to the Sardis United Method
ist Church.

Frances J. Weeks, 59, entered into rest Tuesday, April 20,
2021. She was a native and lifelong resident of Jenkins County.
She was a former employee of the Wal-Mart Distribution Cen
ter and a former member of the Fong Branch Church of God.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, David Daniels
and Jimmy Daniels; and a sister, Mary Tipton.
She is survived by three children, Dusty Overstreet, Jr.,
Ricky Bernard Daniels, and Tonya Nicole Weeks all of Millen;
and a grandson, Noah Overstreet.
The family received friends from 11:00am- 12:30pm Friday,
April 23 at the funeral home. Graveside services were held
at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 23 at Green Fork Baptist Church
Cemetery.

Jaxxon Kyle Rogers
Augusta, GA-After only ten days on earth, Jaxxon Kyle
Rogers, infant son of Hannah and Jonathan Rogers, died
peacefully in the arms of his loving parents and went home
to his Heavenly Father on April 19,2021 from Augusta Uni
versity. Services to celebrate his life eternal were held in the
James Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon,
April 22,2021, with Rev. David Boggs officiating. Interment
followed in the Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Others left to cherish the memory of this precious baby boy
include his paternal grandparents, Shelli and Richard Rogers
of Waynesboro, and Crystal and Shane Hozey of Grovetown;
maternal grandparents, Fynn Screws and Donnie Screws,
both of Mitchell; great grandparents, Jane and Robert Rogers
of Waynesboro, and Gordon Screws of Mitchell; aunts and
uncles, William and Emma Rogers, Cody and Shelby Hozey,
Robin and Peter Spivey, Shannon Screws and Phillip Screws;
great uncles and aunts, cousins and other extended family.
Pallbearers will be Richard Rogers and Richard Faulk.
Even though Jaxxon was with us a very short time, he
touched the lives of many for which we are eternally grateful.
Thank you, our Heavenly Father, for allowing us this precious
time on earth with him.
