College and Future Plans: I will be attending the University of Georgia on the pre-physician
assistant track with hopes of becoming a physician assistant and practicing medicine in a rural
area like my hometown.

School Activities: Tennis, Cheerleading, Band, Colorguard, Beta Club, Student Ambassadors.
Hobbies/Community Involvement: Studying my Bible and journaling, playing the piano at
church, volunteering to tutor in math.
What item did you choose for your newspaper photo and why? I chose to bring my tennis
raquet because this sport has been a big part of my high school career.

What item did you choose for your newspaper photo
and why? I used a book because I spend a lot of time
reading, and it helps me in school.
What was the most enjoyable book you had to read for
school this year? The Prince by Machiavelli

College and Future Plans: I am attending Augusta University
and plan to attend vet school
Major: Biology
School Activities: During my senior year, I participated in
basketball and tennis. I am the piano accompanist for the
elementary school musicals, and I teach art in the STEAM
program.
Hobbies/Community Involvement: In most of my spare
time, I have worked on retraining and competing off-the-track
thoroughbreds (ex-racehorses). I also teach five piano students
and work part time at Burke County Animal Hospital.
What item did you choose for your newspaper photo and
why? I chose my horse, Brody, for my photo because horses are
a huge part of my life.

Hobbies/Community Involvement: I have been riding horses since the
third grade. I am currently training my off the track thoroughbred, Quin, to
Event. Quin went to his first big show recently and won second place! I'm so
proud of him! I assist with service projects through Beta Club. I have worked r
at Burke County Animal Hospital since 2017.1 love helping the pets and the
people there! I also am a member at First Baptist Church.
What items did you choose for your newspaper photo and why? I want I
my horse in the picture, because riding is a huge part of my life. I love other
sports like basketball and tennis, but I have been riding horses longer than I
have played either sport. Riding brings me joy because it allows me to work
closely with my horse and see our progression together after each ride.

chose an assortment of books including Gone With The Wind, Crime and
Punishment and Les Miserables because I have always enjoyed reading,
especially classics such as these.
