Halee Michelle Kitchens
Ms. Geraldine Kittles
Halee Michelle Kitchens, 22, passed away on Wednesday,
May 26,2021, in North Augusta, S .C. She was born on Feb
ruary 10, 1999, in Waynesboro.
Halee had a contagious smile
and personality. She was a lov
ing, caring young lady, with a
compassionate heart, who loved
animals and going to the beach.
Halee was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by
her grandfather, Kenneth Wayne
Kitchens; and great-grandmoth
er, Naomi Kitchens.
Halee is survived by her moth
er, Wendy Kitchens of North Augusta, SC; father, David Hood
of Millen; maternal grandmother, Jetti Neely of Waynesboro;
paternal grandmother, Brenda Hood of Millen; several aunts,
uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was Tuesday, June 1,2021, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
at the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home. Funeral
services will be 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in the
DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with the
Reverend Jerry Sharpe officiating.

4,2021 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. and public viewing will be held
from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Phinazee and Son Funeral Home, 404
West 8th Street, Waynesboro, GA 30830.
Her loving and devoted family will cherish her memories.

Manton Franklin Horton, Jr. age 73, passed away on Tues
day, May 25th, 2021 at his residence. He was a Burke County
native and formerly a resident of Waynesboro. Manton was
preceded in death by his father, Manton Horton, Sr. and his
mother, Frances Horton.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda and daughters Jennifer
Quick (Keith) and Mandy McKneely (Jeff). He is further
survived by a number of grandchildren, Jordan Herrington
(Tayhlor), Blake Quick (MacKensie), Megan McKneely,
Macay McKneely, and Jenna McKneely. He is also survived
by one great-grandchild, Bo Herrington.
Funeral services and burial were held at Rose Dhu Cemetery
in Vidette, Ga. on Thursday, May 27, officiated by Rev. Matt
Shryock.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that any memo
rial contributions be made to
the Waynesboro First United
Methodist Church or a charity
of your choice.
