BECAUSE EVERY
DECISION COUNTS.
• EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION. Our Burke County
Public Schools have the capability to offer every student
excellence in educational, vocational and athletic programs. I
have a passion for this mission, because every child matters.
• PROVIDING TOMORROW’S WORKFORCE. Our
school system is charged with equipping students to fill roles in
fhe local economy as well as preparing them to pursue their
professional goals. Whatever their path may be, we must propel
students to their full potential.
• FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY. Our Board of
Education benefits from the largest share of county property
taxes, I believe in spending these tax dollars wisely to see the
greatest return on our investment. Burke County is uniquely
positioned to fund the most qualified educators and administrators
and provide the best facilities and technology, all while minimizing
the burden on taxpayers.
