OBITUARIES
Sue M. Mobley
Sue M. Mobley, 68, entered into rest on Thursday, February
10,2022, at her residence. Ms. Mobley was bom in Augusta,
Georgia and was longtime resi
dent of Waynesboro. She was a
member of the Waynesboro
Church of God, formerly worked
for Mizell Ford and the Burke
County Department of Family
and Children Services.
Surviving are her sons, John
Mobley (Leslie) of Floyds
Knobs, Indiana, Chris Mobley
(Julie) of Fayetteville, Georgia,
and Daniel Mobley (Christina)
of Bloomingdale, Georgia; her brother, Robert McCullough
of Waynesboro; her grandchildren, Aubree, Morgan, Walker,
Maddi Claire, Dabney, Foster, Wilder; and one great grand
child, Parker.
A Memorial will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February
16, 2022 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home
Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the
service.

David Mark Auvenshine II
Waynesboro, GA- David Mark Auvenshine II, 46, husband
of Pamela Auvenshine, entered into rest Tuesday, February
8,2022.
Mr. Auvenshine is the son of
Brenda Pickering of Spring, Tex.
and the late David Auvenshine of
Waynesboro, Ga. David was bom
in Abilene, Tex. on Dyess AFB
on October 7,1975.
He is preceded in death by
father, David Auvenshine, step
father David Pickering, and
stepmother Marie Auvenshine.
David was a devoted and loving
husband, father and grandfather,
always putting his family first. He
loved riding his motorcycle and
working on antique cars with his
father throughout his life.
He was a devoted and well loved employee with Richmond
County School Systems as Lead Application Support Special
ist for the past seven years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Glenn
Auvenshine, Karen Auvenshine, and Alex Auvenshine; his
mother, Brenda Pickering; his grandchild, Xavier “Squishy”
Belk; his sisters, Talia Baker and spouse Jeff Baker of Mont
gomery, Tex., and Danielle Auvenshine and spouse Anthony
McIntosh of Augusta, along with multiple nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers are nephews Jeff Baker, Christian
Hillis, Gilbert Baker, Cameron Black, Shane Kaney, and
Jakob Baker.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 17,2022,
at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral
Directors with Pastor Willie Jordan officiating.
The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. an hour prior
to service, at the funeral home. There will be a memorial din
ner afterwards at Soiree on Seventh, located at 210 W. 7th St,
Waynesboro, GA 30830 at 6:00 pm.
