BURKE EMA REPORT
The Burke County Emergency Management Agency
responded to 98 patients’ calls during the week ending
Feb. 13. Of those, 70 resulted in transports, including
37 to Augusta hospitals and four to other out-of-county
hospitals. Twenty bve of the transports were deter
mined to be emergencies and 44 were non-emergent.
The agency also answered 13 bre calls during the
week. They included one brush/grass hre, one outside
trash/waste or dumpster hre, live rescues, one motor
vehicle accident rescue, one woods hre, two public
service calls and two unspecihed calls.
