Notice is hereby given that the Burke
County Board of Commissioners
will let a contract to the lowest
responsible, qualified, bidder by
sealed bids submitted to the Burke
County Board of Commissioners,
P.O. Box 89, 602 N. Liberty Street,
Waynesboro, Georgia 30830, no
later than 5:00 p.m., Tuesday Octo
ber 11th, 2022, for the Renovations
of Burke County Recreation/Boxing
Club Facility. The facility is located
at 525 Wallace Street Waynesboro,
GA 30830. Interested companies
are asked to attend a Pre-bid meet
ing on Tuesday September 20th at
11:00 a.m. at the site.
The project is funded, in part, by
a Community Development Block
Grant. Contractor must not be on
DCA debarred list and must comply
with all Grant Clauses, Wage Rates,
etc. The project must also comply
with the Section 3 employment
requirements (see CDBG Clauses).
Bids will be opened during the Com
missioners’ meeting on October 11 th
at 6:00 p.m. No contact can be made
with the Building Personnel or any
other Burke County personnel. Con
tacting any individuals with Burke
County will disqualify any bidder. Bid
package shall contain the bid form,
bid bond, and e-verify forms.
