Tommy Huffstetler Chapman
Tommy Huffstetler Chapman, 81, widow of Michael Bar-
row Chapman of Waterloo, SC passed away peacefully at
her home September 3,2022. She was bom June 21,1941 in
Gastonia, NC and was a daughter
of the late Lloyd Huffstetler, Sr.
and Goldia Robinson Huffstetler.
Tommy, even while working
outside the home, was a wonder
ful mother, a selfless giver and a
truly thrifty homemaker.
In addition to her husband,
she was preceded in death by
her son, Lloyd Greg Chapman.
She is survived by her children,
Michelle Sullivan (Lanier) of
Daphne, AL, and David Chapman (Machelle) of Waterloo, SC;
daughter in-law Mary Cathy Billiot Chapman of Westwego,
LA; siblings, Jan Campbell (Wallace), Sherry Campbell, and
Lloyd Huffstetler, Jr. (Tami); grandchildren, Jennifer Ann
Chapman, Lloyd Greg Chapman, Jr. (Robin), John Carpin Gay
(Lindsey), Joshua Michael Chapman, Amanda Elise Clary
(Chad), Sarah Jane Reynolds; and great-grandchildren Ethan,
Ava, Jadea, Jaxon, Conner, Emma; and soon to be Charles;
several nieces and nephews.
There will be a private memorial service held at a later date.

Gerald Ray Collins, Sr.
Mr. Gerald Ray Collins, Sr, 71, entered into eternal rest
Saturday, September 10, 2022, at PruittHealth Old Capitol
in Louisville, Georgia.
Mr. Collins fought congestive heart failure for several years
until succumbing to this condition, and he visited relatives and
friends until he could no longer travel. Known to everyone as
"Jerry," he would cruise the Savannah River with his favorite
boat while enjoying his collection of antique automobiles
when he arrived home.
He was a retired farmer, devoted son, and kind father. Jerry
is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Brinson and Ollie
Bell Collins; his son, Gerald Ray Collins, Jr. ("Ray"); brothers
Minus and Danny, and sister Millie Babb.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather Battles (Wayne),
and their children, Hope, Kaleigh, and Kelsey; his son’s chil
dren, Brinson Minus Collins and Cera C. Moore; his sister,
Cheryl Salemi (Mike), and their children, Chris and Mike
Salemi, Jr; Millie’s and Bill’s children, B.B, Julie, and Fay;
and several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services for immediate family will be held
Saturday, September 17, at Burke
Memorial Funeral Home, 842 Lib
erty Street, in Waynesboro, Georgia.
Burke Memorial will also provide
all funeral arrangements.
