With Message to Congress
Special to The Leader Enteyyrise. ‘ ,
Washington, Nov. 16, 1:30 p. m.— President Wilson plans to
work all this week on his message to Congress and exneets to have it
finished before Thanksgiving. He discussed some of the features with
the Cabinet today. National defense will be the principal subjeet
treated in the message. He is also expected to take up recommenda
tions for raising additional revenues. Conservation measures which
failed of passage at the last Congress and the Philippine bill wiil again
be endorsed. i
ALLIED NEWS IN FULL FOR GERMARS

Washington, November, 16. 1:30 p. m.—The German Am
bassador County Von Bernstoff announced today that he had been
informed that the German Censors had been instructed to insist
upon full publication in Germany of Allied war reports.
Greece Makes Yague Promises
Special to The Leader-Enterprise. -
London, Nov. 16, 1:30 p. m.—The Greek government is reported
to have modified it’s position somewhat in favor of the entente Allies.
The correspondents at Athens of the Exchange Telegraph Ccmpany
state that it was decided that in the event of a retreat of the Allies to
Greek territory Serbian troops will be placed in the same footing as
British and French. As there has no definite assurances been given
as to what that footing will be it is regarded as serious,
Allied Air Fleet Ganses Damage

Amsterdam, Nov. 16, 1:30 p. m.—A number of German soldiers
were killed, 30 wounded and 10 military ambulances were destroyed
when the air fleet bombarded Lichtervelte, Belgium, according to a
telegram received today. Lichterveite is 17 miles N. E. from Ypress.

Adtlanta, Nov. 15, 1:30 p. m.—The anti-prohibition bill and the
anti-advertising prohibition bill will very probable pass the house of
Representatives today and this will clear the way for the general ap
propriation bill, the Warehouse bill and other measures including in
’tbe call for the special session. There is no opposition anticipated to
the passége of the entire prohibition program.

Berlin, Nov. 14—Reports from Sofia to the T.okal Anzeiger,
says the Overseas News agency, ‘‘declares that up to the present
the Bulgarian troops have been on the defensive against the forces
of the Entente powers and that the latter have suffered heavy
losses. '
“‘The opinion is prevalent in the Bulgarian capital”’ sayS the
correspondent, ‘‘that Macedonia will be another Gallipoli for the
'Anglo-French army.
“Bulgaria’’ the Oversea News Agency quotes the correspondent
as saying, ‘ has now gained nearly all her ends and is no* think- J
ing of more conquests. Allother reports published in the foreign
press are Anglo-French inventions. l

Mud begrimed, but in good
Spirits a party of tourists from the
far off Lake country, sarrived this
noon on the ‘“‘Dixie” short route
en route to their winter homes in
Florida. Fully equipped with tents
and camping outfits, the pariy
looked like they enjoyed every
mile of the lohg trip, two weeks
already having been spent on the
road. Speaking for the party, Mr.
J. G. Clapper, of Jasper, Mich.,
dubbed ‘path finder’ by his associ
ates, said, ‘‘we have had a delight
ful trip along the entire distance
of the Dixie Highway thru Illiso’s,
Indiana, lentucky and now thru
Georgia. Georgia las by far the
best roads of auy of the States,
and say thav ‘short route’ from
Perry to your beautiful little city
is the pick of the entire mileage,
We have never seen so perfect a
road any where, and take my word
for it, the noithern tourists will
soon learn of this superior route
and you will see hundreds of autos
come through here. The travel 1s
beginning fron: the north, every
thing from & ¥ord to twelve cylin
der cars are bound for the sunny

issued to-day the Serbs have retaken the town of Kalkadelen,
taking 520 prisoners and a large quantity of munition.
