“Tanlac, to my mind, is the
createst and grandest medicine in
in the world,” said O. H Mahaffey
Chief Epgineer of the Life &
Casualty Building, Nashville, a
few days ago.
l **l have taken eight bottles,” he
tcon:inued, ““and have actually
'gained fourty pounds in weight,
land feel stronger and better than I
have in twenty-five years.
| “For two years I have suffered
‘with the worst kind of stomach
‘trouble and indigestion and fell off
‘in weight from 210 pounds to 162,
I am now back at 202, which is al
most as much as I weighed before
I was taken sick, About] six
months ago I got awful bad off,
and called in the doctor, and he
told me I had an ulcer of the
stomach and if I was not careful 1t
might turn into cancer. He gave
me some medicine. I didn’tseem to
lget any better and was afraid to
et anvthing except a little oat
lmeal and sweet milk, but in spite
‘of everything I could do, I just
‘ kept going down hill and got weak
ter and weaker every day. I got
{BO disheartened one day 1 told my
temployer 1t icoked like I would
“have to throw up my joi. I was
|trying to hold on though as long
as I could, for I had a family to
support and I made up my mind
that just as long as I could drag
‘mysall’ around [ would stick 1t out
l “Ouve day my wife told me what
she had read in the papers, and
what the neighbors were saying
about Tanlac, and begged me to
try it. She had read about a man
i wuo had taken it, who described
my case exactly and he was getting
lots better, but I had tried all
kinds of medicine, so I didn’t have
lmucb hope of it doing me much
good. DBesides, my doctor had
already told me I would have to
be operated on in order to get re
lief. Something just told me
though it might help me, and I
aecided to try it,
““After Ihad taken it a day or
two I got so hungry I just simply
had to eat, and 1 did eat, and you
can believe me or not, nothing
seemed to hurt me a particle. My
wife said to me, ‘‘Tanlac must be
helping you,” and I said, “I guess
it is from the way lam eating.”
. “It wasn’t long before those
awful pains in my stomach and the
small of my back began to leave
me. Then I noticed I began to
sleep better and I would get up in
the mornings full of life and ready
'to work. The medicine seemed to
!take hold quicker thar anything I
ever saw, and braced me right up.
I am telling all my friends about
Tanlac, and hopé everybody will
hear about it.”
Tanlac is sold exelusively in
Fitzgerald by Denmark Drug Co.

HEREAFTER 1 shall deposit my
money in The Exchange National
Bank. I see in recent sworn state
ments published in Fitzgeraid papers
that it BEARS EAR-MARKS of
GREAT STRENGTH. I understand,
also, it is an HONOR ROLL BANK.
I don’t know exactly what that
means, but evidently it has done
something EXTRAORDINARY for
the benefit and protection of the pub
lic, or else: it would not have AT
TAINED THIS HONOR.—-M':’l
