Alderman Parnin tellsus of a

count of her invalid mother. She
said tell her northern friends
down here that they ware wel
come to all of the wintery blasts
of the north, but that she already
had enough and would be con
tented in her southern home.
The worthy couple still keep a
home in the north, but grow to

We have had remarkably fine
weather thus far when we take
into consideration the past. In
1896 there was no rainfall from
Feb. 24, to May 1, and March
and April were the warmest
months of the whole summer.
After May Ist, showers occur
red frequently and they were
grateful, cooling showers.

“Fewer Gallons; Wears
? Longer,”
- The secret is out and Fitz
gerald can go on living just as if
‘the riddle had never been asked.
No it can’t either. Fitzgerald is
not going to be what it was be
fore. Its houses are going to be
‘brighter; its people a little more
prosperous—they are going to
‘have some of their money left to
buy other things with.
The answer to the riddle is
this: you can paint a building
with fewer gallons of Devoe
Lead and Zinc paint than with
mixed paints, and it will
wear several times as long as a
building painted with lead and
oil mixed by hand.
There’s proof abundant of it
all over the United States. There
will soon be proof abundant of it
in Fitzgerald.
What will people do with the
rest of their money?
