" Friends. As most of yeu
know an effort I's being made to
raise money to build a Pavilion
at the Andersonville National
Cemetery, in which tohold Mem
orial exercises, and for shelter
and refuge in case of rain. All
iwho went to Andersonville the
last two years know how much
such a building is needed. We
have raised several hundred
dollars but we need as much
more as the Government re
quires a substantial, permanent
building in harmony with its
surroundings. The people of
Fitzgerald will receive the most
benefit from this building, and
so far no call has been made
upon them for financial aid. But
we now ask those in charge of
the Sunday Memorial exercises
at the Opera House to take up a
collection for this purpose., We
ask of all who attend those ex
ercises to come prepared to
make a liberal donation as our
friends in the North are doing
nobly, and we are much more
deeply interested than they are.

’ —ennuh. THE IMPORTED o
REINECKE, No. 2979
Wil be at stud at GRAY'S STABLES, FITZGERALD, GA., for
the season, Beginning APRIL 16.
This horse is owned by a Stock Company at Tifton, that was
formed in the interest of improving the live stock of this section,
and is without doubt the finest horse that has ever been seen in
this section. He was bred by the German Government and was
imported to this country in October, 1905. Come and bring your
mares, raise your own stock and have good stock to sell instead of
sending your money to other sections for stock not as good as you
can raise at home for much less cost. This horse is under the
management of Mr. J. L. Jay, Jr., and will be handled by Mr. B.
M. Monk, who is an expert horseman.
