A much needed rain fell here
Wednesday night,
A good many of us bring trouble
and unhappiness upon ourselves by
all the time fearing this or that! We
fear sickness or poverty; we fear the
ability to do the things duty demands
of us; we fear our children may go
wrong, Fears of dying assail us of
tentimes; in fact we wear our lives
away fearing things that seldom
happen. If real misfortune does ov
ertake we are not prepared for it
on account of having lived in fear
for so long, The worst of it is, fear
does us no good—we can never pre
vent an evil by living in constant
fear of it, So the best thing we can
do is to hope for the best and go
on our way trusting in the powers
that overrules us all and knowing
that we shall never be called on to
bear a load of burden greater than
¢an be borne.

~ According to a doctor who was as

stricken after sealing several envel

Reaching home that night his lips
began to swell and as the disease
progressed the poison spread thru
out his system, culminating. in his
death. The doctors say the deadly
germ must have been on the envel

‘the flap he cut his lip slightly and
the germ entered his system through
