Robert Williford Son of Mr. John W illiford who lives • near Paoli, happened to a serious acci dent during Christmas week. He was going along with his gun when he came to a creek where there was afoot log. In walking the log, his foot slipped causing him to fall. In falling the hammer of his gun struck agaiust, causing the gun to fire, and the whole load entering his arm. Dr. L. G, Hardman, of Harmony GroVe, was telegraphed for, and when he arrived he found that the arm was so lacerated that it had to be amputated to save tne boy’s life. He stood the operation admirably, and is now doing fine. Last Tuesday was public sale day, and several pieces of property wiis sold.
