RKOULATIOXS.
The fo.lowing regulations will govern
nil displays made in the stjvt-e exhibit.:
1. Under the terms of the art authoriz
ing the agricultural dcnartmont to make
a display of the state’s resources at the
Cotton States and International exposi
tion, all material in tbe exhibit which has
been paid for out of the appropriation be
come.:, the property of the state, to be de
posited in the state capital as a permanent
state exhibit, at the close of the exposi
tion. Therefore, all products entered in
coinpetiiion for premiums offered for best
specimen crops will become the absolute
property of the state upon entrance, and
all county exhibits and collective displays
made by single individuals, which receive
premiums, will also become the state'#
property upon the announcement of the
awards. Provided, however, that any
county or individual, after having been
awarded a premium, may have the option
of refusing the premium money mid thus
retain their ownership of the exhibit.
2. It is the desire of the commission to
make the Georgia exhibit as comprehen
sive as possible, and to that end loans or
donations of articles or products for which
no premiums are offered will be received
and carefully placed in the display, sub
ject to the order of the owner when the
exposition shall have closed. All the ar
ticles thus furnished will be properly
tagged and catalogued with the owner’s
name, etc., and transportation on all such
articles will he paid by the commission.
8. All shipments of whatever character
and all correspondence should be address
ed to Hon. R. T. Nesbitt, executive officer,
department of agriculture, Atlanta, Ga.
Letters should be marked “State Ex
hibit.”
4, Experts will be employed by the com
mission to arrange the exhibit, the com
mission reserving full power to supervise
and direct tiie placing of article* or exhib
its entered wherever it will best suit to
make an artistic display of tbe whole.
The exhibits will be, so labelled, howevc.,
as to show the identity of the party and
locality entitled to the creditof it.
5. In the event that more material i# re
ceived in competition for premiums bd tbe
individual class than can be used to ad
vantage in making up the display in the
building, the commission reserves tic
right to use only such as may be desired
but, the uso of all or only part of materi'

created, embracing all branches of the

school commissioner.
22. Space for displays of manufactured

executive officer, if. in the opinion of the

Miss Mercnr suggests that the outside be
plastarod with cement mortar, and that
the columns and capitals be formed of
staff. There will be a fireproof art gap -ry
and numerous exits for the safety of the
visitors.
