ANOTHER FREAK.
Cat. Darid W Meadow cornea to
the frost with the greatest freak of
nature yet. It is a chicken that has
four legs, four wings," two tails and
only oae head. It ia the atraagest
freak in the fowl line tliat we hare
yet seen. The lege projected froaa
the body with the wiag directly oxer
the*, and the tails were also st the
preper place, Jf this chicken had
lived, it would hare been a fortune
to Col. Meadow, but anfortunately
for him it died.
We ere wailing for the aext, as
it seems that Madison is determined
to take the day on freak*.
INDIAN RELIC. .
KM Strickland, while plowing
in his fluid near here, turned up
an old Indian relic, resembling
an axe and somewhat in the
shape of an axe. It was of atone
and where the eye goes through
ths axo, there are two groves, one
on each sids, seemingly arranged
to fasten on the handle. Mr.
Strickland prizes this relic very
highly.
No doubt the earth around here
is filled with these Indian relics,
if they could only b? found, as
once upon a time the red man
had fuir sway in this section of
the country. t
