Mrs. Long Dead.
The grim reaper has visited our
town again.
Mrs. Francis Long, who has
been sick for quite awhile at the
home of her daughter. Mrs. B N
White, died on last Sunday even ;
iug at about 8 o’clock. Mrs. Long
was a good mother, good neighbor,
good friend aad a good Christian.
She had been a member of the
Presbyterian church for several
years and died in the faith of the
Lord.
Her husband had preceded her
to the other shore jnst seven years
to a day, having died at about the
•aino time in the afternoon, and
strange to say, there was a shower
•f train just after he died, and
there was also one just after Mrs.
Long died.
In her death the children lose a
good mother, h*r sisters and broth
ers a good sister, bor friends a good
friend and the church nu mtifing
si,d faithful member. She Ims gone
to reap her reward, ad to receive
the crown prepared for her. in that
home of the blessed, where troubles
ar ended, and pain and *<tSPwg
are no more.

place, who were with Ler when she
died.
Several sisters and two brothers,

N B Gholston ef Guntown, Miss.,
survive her.
