Obituary of Mrs. J. T. Wil
liams.
Our sister SEE Williams, wife
of John T Williams, was borne on
angelic wings trom earth to heaven,
on the 3rd day of March.
Our sister was the youngest
child of Win. H and Martha N
Bennett, and was born in Madhon
ci'tuty, Ga.. on the 24th day Oct.
1852, and Aval united in marriage
with our brother John T Williams
ou the 25th day ef Oct. 1870, and
was ivceivsd into the fellowship of
Union Baptist church during the
annual meeting in August 1876, and
was baptized by Rev. W It Goss.
Asa member of the church she
was faithful and diligent in per
forming all the-duties pertaining to
a church member and tho wife of a
deacon, Bio. Williams having soon
been elected and 86t forth in that
position She exerted a wide influ
ence for goed in the cause ©f Christ
whether it was t lead the young to
( the foot of the coss or in the
common, necessary work of the
church.
Asa wife, she was as near pert
fection as it is possibl# for a wife to
: be, She loved tier husband and it
was her delight to minister to his
wants temporally and spiritually.
She nevsrgave any but good conn—
e*l; when he was dispirited she
choered him, when he sorrowed she
comlortxi him, w''en hs was sick
slio nursed him and cared for him,
and navor seemed happier than when
doing something to minister to his
comfort.
As -a mother none couldjdo better
than she. Slio controlled her chiL
dren as chile ran are seldom control
ed. simply by the power of her love
oyer thorn. They seemed to fear to
disobey her, because they knew she
loved them so’ well and would bo
so mortified by any misconduct on
tlieii part tha; they obeyed her ims
plicitly.
She !e?v°s two children to monrri
her lo*h, T G Williams and Mrs.
Evie Whitehead, wife ol } G
Whit head, and her late husband,
John T Williams. May the Lord
comb.rt them and be with them
in this their sad hour of affliction.
Sister illiams had been in good
health until a few years ago, when
she had to undergo groat bodily
fatigue as well as a considerable
mental strain, alter which her
her health gradually gave way.
During the early part ot the press
eut yter she had a severe attack of
grippe which developed into dropsy
of the heart, from which she died.

HOW IS THIS.
Fill a bottle or common Water
glass with urire and let it stand
23Jhours a sediment or settling
indicates a disease condition ot the
kidneys. When urine stains linen it
is positive evidence of kidney
t'ouble. Too frequent desite to
urinate or pain in the baek is also
convincing proof ilia the k'dney

What to do :
There is comfort in the knowle*
dge so often expressed, that Dr.
Kilmer,s Swamp Root the great
kidney remedy fulli lls every wish
in relieving pain in the back kidney
liver bladder and every part of tlie
urinary passages. Itco rectsiuabu

in passing it, or effects following
use of liq lor wine or beer and
overcome that unpleasant necessity
of bei- g compelled to get up many
time daring the night to urinate.
The mild and ihe extraordinary
effort of Swamp—Root is soon
realised. 1 stands the for
