Aug. 12,1914. i Whereas, the general assembly at its session in lit 11. proposed all amendment to the constitution of this State, as set forth in an act approved August (J, 1914* to-wir: An act to amend paragraph 1, of section 3, of article 3, of the constitution of the State of Georgia by striking the figures I *4 I herefrom and insertiug in place thereof the figures I St), so as to provide for representation in the house of representatives for counties not now provided for. unit further by striking from said paragraph the names of the counties therein set out and inserting in place there if the names of the counties mentioned in the re-apportionment act of the gen eral assembly of 10! 1. so that said par agraph will conform to said re-appor tionment. and for other purposes. Section 1. if enacted by the gene ral assembly of the State of Georgia, and ii is hereby enacted by authority of tl e same, that paragraph 1,.0f section 3, of article 3, of 11 e const i tut ion be, and the same is hereby amended by striking from tlie second line of said paragraph the figures ‘•lst’’ and inserting in lieu thereof the ligures “189,” and further by striking therefrom the names of all counties therein specified, and insert ing in of six counties therein na med as being entitled to three repre sentatives each the following : “Fulton, Chatham. Richmond, Bibb, Floyd and Muscogee,” anil inserting in place of the twenty-six counties therein speci fied as being entitled to two represent atives each, the following: “Laurens, Carroll, .laekson, Sumter, Thomas, De catur, Gwinnett, Coweta, Cobh.
