We had the pleasure of visit ing his farm this week where we saw one of the finest fields of cotton we had ever seen. From a field of eight acres he will get from 25 to 20 bales. DANIELSVILLE Mrs. R C. Murray and Miss Latrelle Hitchcock spent the veek-end in Elberton. Mrs. John A. Davison, of Sel ma, Ala., visited her father, Mr L. E, Greene for the past few lays. Mr. J. T. Baker was in Ath ens last Friday. Mr. W. D. Meadow was at Shiloh church, Sunday, in the interest of the Baptist Seventy Five Million Drive. Mr, and Mrs, Velpoe Long were here for the week-end. Mrs. Fred Bond returned home from Athens, Sunday af ternoon, after a visit to her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. T. A, Grimes, Messers Garnett Porterfield, Clifford Tyner and Patt Gra ham went to Florida on a busi es s trip this week. Little Vivian Long :s visiting her brother, Velpoe, in Atlanta, this week. Mr. G. M. David was in Ath ens Thursday. Little Lucy Thornton, of Ath ens, visited her sister, Miss Willie Tolbert, last week. The new preacher at the Methodist church for the com ing is A. A. Sullivan. We welcome 'him into our rmdst and wish him a prosperous year. Rev. M. A. Franklin goes to Rockmart for the next Ccnter ence year. We regret to him as we feel that he is Quite an addition to any community 7 . Mr. A. H.
