Death of Mr. C. N. Sneliing.
Friday night of last week occur
red the death of om loved friend,
Mr. Charlie Snelling.
He was a true friend of our com
munity and was a member ut the
Methodist church.
He leaves a wife, four daughters
and four sons to mourn his death,
lie looked well to the interest of
his home. As long as he was able
lie, with his family, was found at
the sanctuary, where he taught, hie
little ones about Jesus.
“Mr. Charlie,” as <■ all called
him, was a loving, ib voted com
panion, a help-meet indeed, a kind
and afl'ectionato father.
He suffered intense agonies for
nine years, but bore it all calmly
and patiently, never murmuring.
He only said : “I can’t stay here.”
Ho was untiring in his zeal to care
for the siitl'ci'ing, visit the sick and
strange: 1 and t<> be a friend to the
