the Woman’s Missionary Society
of Union Baptist Church, under the
leadership of Mr* J. V Jenkins Pres.
Our membership was small, but ac
tive. $134.50 was paid into the Bap
i i aiiliij.i ■ viipsig , lund., to
help support the Baptist Orphanage,
Hospital, Schools and Colleges; For-
eign Missions and all other work fos
tered by the Southern Baptist Con
vention. This fund takes care of all
Baptist work except the local church
and cornunnity expensts.

len, in a large measure, to the Women
if the Church. This work is direct
ed by the Personal .Sen ice Chairman
and her committee, but each member
has her part. In a quiet way she
goes about doing goo? wherever she
finds a need for Christian Service,
She keeps a record of her Personal
Service work. She does not report
Social calls, or gifts not made in the
spirit of Christian Service. She
signs no name to her report. But for
the sake of statistic, and as a sug
gestion to others she tries to keep an
accurate recrak

into the homes of many who cannot
attend Sunday School. 442 scripture
text cards and S. S. story leaflets
have been distributed.
Wo have had a devotional and busi
ness meeting each month, have obser
ved the special times for prayer .sug
gested by the Mission Board, and have
studied the interesting history of one
Mission field entitled “A Wander' ig
Jew in Brazil.”
With our new president, -Miss Clara
Chandler, we shall make every effor;
this year to reach the Standard of
Excellence which we missed by only
a few points last year.
