IN MEMORY OF PARKER TABOR
The death of Mr. W. Parker Tabor
is felt not only in his immediate sec
tion, but the County and State as wel
He leaves a vacancy which can’t be
easily filled.
Parker was a young man of ster
ling worth, full of ambition, eonscien
tious in the discharge of his duties
and was trying to be of some value to
his family, community, County and
State. Though here for only a short
time we had learned to love and
esteem hirn.
He served as a member of the
County Board of Education for three
years, but on account of ill health he
sent in his resignation, which was in
the Governor’s office at the time of
his death
We, the Madison County Board of
Education, realize that we have lost
a truly great young man and feel
that our loss is his gain ~
Whreas, The Grand Master, the
Supreme Ruler of the universe has

teamed member Mr W. Parkr Tabor,
and whereas, the infinite relation
held with him int be discharge of
his duties on the Board of Education
.makes it eminently befitting that we
record our appreciation of him of him
therefore, R^o’y’ed—That the
wisdom and ability which he exercis
ed in the discharge of his duties on
the Board of Education will be held
in grateful remembrance,
Resolved—That the removal of
such a life from us leaves a vacancy
and a shadow that will be deeply rea
lized by the membrs of the Board
of Education and .will be a serious
loss to the County.
Resolved—That 'with deep sympa
thy with the bereaved family, we
iexpress our hope, that even so grat
a loss to uk all may be overruled for
good by Him, who “doeth all things
well.” ....
Resolved—That a copy of these
resolutions be spread upon the min
