The success of th | Club has been most gratifying during 'the year just passed; The financ-al report was good, $149.07 having [ passed through the treasurer’s hands and beginning this year with a bal 'ar.ee of $41.73 This repost was followed by the annual election cf office.*? Free man, Com., sitting for county pur poses’ proceeded to levy the tax for County purposes for the year 1923, as follows: I It appealing that the tax digest shows a decrease in the total amount of property given in fir taxation of $778,585.00, while the exnense r-f the county shows no decrease. And it further appealing- that neither or* i of the three grand juries the p.esent yew made any direction as to the amount of the tax levy to be made the present year; 1 . Therefore it is ordered that the rate of the levy of the tax for county purposes be fixed at 12 mills on the ore dollar’s wo-.th of property as shown on the tax digest or 12 dolla r on the one thou, and dollars worth of property on the tax digest.
