DIES
Wednesday night at 11:30. Mrs.
0. D. Scarborough of Danielsvillc
died after a very short illness. She
*as the daughter of J. W. Beard of
Athens. Besides her husband she
:eavcs a son, O. D. Scarborough Jr.,
M the U. S. Navy who is now sta
tior.ed at Panama Canal, two daugh
ters, Mrs. Claude Parham and Miss
Kathlene Scarborough, several sis
ters a:id brothers and a host of
friends.
Funeral services will bo held at
the Baptist church Friday at 11:00
o'clock, conducted by Rw. Wl. M.
