The political pot is Georgia is be
ginning to boil. Over here in the
Eighth District Frank Holden will
most probably oppose Judge Brand
for re-election. Holden is related to
; many of the old Georgia families, is
a son of Judge Horace Holden, and a
young man who sewed with distinc
tion in France. Judge Brand is an
experienced campaigner, and the
race will be an interesting one.
Linton Johnson comes out for so
licitor General of the Northern Cir
cuit. He opposes Steve Skelton, who
has held the place a couple of terms.
It tiow appears that Judge Hodges
wilt have r.o opposition for Judge.
With county politics settled, the at
| tention will b<- centered on these vac
| os, and that. fi.<* governor, ‘'hoi’ld any
of the prospective candidates come
out against Governor Walker. There
| will he enough going; on to make the
year an interesting one.
