The Ami *an Cotton Association Io!l Weevil Control Campaign has established cotton demon: 1 ! ration farms, of five to eight acreg each, in Madison County, for improved cul tural anti wbevil control methods. The literature and coopera tin'! of the Association are available to every cotton grower who mokes .application for same to the Ameri can Cotton Association, St. Mat thews, S. C. No additional appli cations can be accepted under Con test. No. 1 for frte poisons, but all applications for enrollment- under Contest No:. 2 will be adopted and fiee literature on cultural and wee vil poison methods will be promptly distributed . This is the only practical method for weevil control ever es tafclishd and successfully carried <*n by any agency in the South. Watch The Madison County Cotton Demonstration Farm* The cotton growers of Madison County are urged to visit the cot ton demons*ation farms in their re spective communities for weevil control this season which are to he operated by the farmers named above Liquid poisons and dry calcium ar senate will be used throughout the season. The first applications will be made with a mop during the month of May and early part of June, and as the cotton limbs out, a hand power spraying pump or dusting machine will be used.
