We need more old-time-social visiting but less gossip-' isiting. Master Malcom Raiden spent last Wednesday night with Mr. Lee Thomas. Mr. J. B. Qarrouth was the guest of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Carrouth, one night last week. The friends of Mrs. Mel! Tucker will regret to know that she has been ill with ( pneumonia. We are glad to report that she is improv ing though slowly. Mell Tucker had with her during her illness, her relatives from Watkinsville. Mr? F. C. Tiller spent Friday afternoon with Mrs. J. O. Chandler. Mrs. Tom Peterman spent awhile Friday with Mrs. C. I. Chandler. Miss Luvie Graham of Atlanta spent the week-end with her mother, Mis. Cora Graham. Mp and Mrs. H. P. Dickerson and son, Lee Thomas, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Isham Thomas, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Thomas had as their guests Sunday, Mr. and Mrs L. 0. Chandler. Messers C. I. and J. O. Chand ler made a business trip to Sandy Cross Friday'. Mr. L. L. O'Kelley spent a while Friday with his daughter, Mrs. Ab ner Wheeles of Sandy Cross. Mrs. C. I. Chandler had as her week-end guest, her sister, Miss Has sie Rankin of Atlanta. Mrs. Earl Anthony and sons, Ded rick and George, spent Sunday with Mr. Pierce Tiller of near Mt. Pleas ant. Mrs. Theodore Sheridan was the Monday’s guest of her sister, Mrs. C. G. Moore of Danielsville. Mr. Mitchell Smith was a visitor at the home of Mr. Roland, Friday night. Mi*. J. R. Burroughs and Miss I Jane Burroughs were saddened Sun i day by the death of their sister, Mrs. I Barnett of Nicholson. Miss Eunice King had as her guest Sunday, Misses Alma and Vella Gar rett and Clyde and Mae Chatham. We are glad to state that Mrs. 1 J. M.
