Mr and Mrs R S Collier had as ther guest, Mr and Mrs Mathews and family of Carlton Sunday Miss Mattie Mae Anthony and brother. Dederick were Sunday eyening guest of Mr and Mrs J, 0. Chandler. Mr and Mrs L O Chandler spenta while Sunday evening with Mr and Mrs Tom Peter man. Mr and Mrs Wfß Patton had as their guest Sunday, Mr and Mrs Dan McCannon of Union and Mr and Mrs Odell Smith. Mr and Mrs R. T. Tucker at tended the funeral of Mr Drake Mrs Tucker’s uncle, at Vine yard Creek Saturday. Mrs Mell Tucker is much im proved since lsst writing. Mr and Mrs Hvatt Wheeless had as their Sunda guest, Mr and Mrs Sam Smith and little son- e are proud of what Madi son did for our bridge across the river. The Singing given by Misses Maudie Sue and Addie Miller Sunday afternoon was enjoyed by all present. Mr J A Epps is visiting his son, in South Georgia at this writing. Mr Lillious Lord and Mr Ben Turner was the guest of Mr Cleo Carithers Saturday night The singing given by Miss Leavie Nelms last Sunday nigh was enjoyed by a large crowd, Mr Ben Pass is visiting rela tives around Sawdust this week We are sorry to report that Mr William Rollins is on the sick list we wish him a speedy recover. Miss Lillian Carithers was visiting relrtives at Ccmer this weekend. Our School is progressing nicely at present we have about 160 on roll now. Mr Alvin Nelms was theguest of Mr Dewey Lee Miller Sun. Mrs Virgil Sorrells was the guest of Miss Maudie Sue Mil ler one night last week.
