Our stock dealers are having quite a lively trade this sp'ing; makes us think of pre-boll weevils times. Mr. Dan Witcher of The Glade was in town Friday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Patten visit ed Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Whelchel of Comer Sunday afternoon. Mr. J. S. Eberharwt was in El berton Sunday afternoon. Mr. Luther Goolsby of Blberton visited his mother Sunday. Mr. Hubert Stevens of The Glade was in town Saturday afternoon. Mr. G. L. Patton is in Atlanta buying a shipment of mules. Mr. Harry Grimes left for Atlanta Sunday. Mr. O’Kelley, our marshal, moved his family to town last week. We extend to them a cordial welcome. Mrai. J. D. Long is very sick at this writing; hope to report her better soon. We are glad to report Mrs. A. H. Eberhardt some better at this writing. Mrs. Baity is able to be *p, *we are glad to report. Miss Rosalie Thornton entertained a number of her frißends with a party Friday night. All reported a splendid time. I . . Don’t be a fraid to come in with y®ur girls. The many friends of Mr. J. H. Ashworth are very much interested and our sympathy is with his family in his serious illness. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Peterman were bed time guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. I. Chandler Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. Peterman had as their guests one day last week, Mrs. Jack Peterman and children of Col bert; also Mrs. John Carter and Mrs. John LaCount of Beavcrdam. Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Martin had as their guests Sunday, Mr. and Mrs R. TJ. Tucker and family and Mr. Coft Tucker. Mr. and Mrs. C. I. Chandler and family were Sunday guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Thomas. ■ Mt. Onnie Colquitt was the week end guest of his father, Mr. Joe Col quitt of Arnoldsville. Our superintendent, Mr. R. S. Collier did not get to Sunday School Sunday afternoon; he was called tc Athens. Miss Mattie Mae Anthony treated her friends Sunday night with an old time singing which was enjoyed by all present. We need more singing We want all to keep in mind that we will begin again our B. Y. P. U. at Clouds Creek first Sunday night ia March. All come and help. Dr). Mell was the guest of Mr. E. W. Johnson’s family Sunday. Let everybody remember that second Saturday and Sunday are preaching days at Clouds Creek. Come out and listen and Dr. Mell will deliver to you a message that is worth while.
