As . n excuse for the mistake-! we have made we offer the fact that this was our first ofLv. t alone this li ><*• And we hope that our efforts have met with the approval of our pa trons under these conditions. We feel that the paper has to a large extent accomplished the thing? which we had in mind when it was founded —namely, the boosting of school and community, by ci eating interest in them through publicity and affording opportunity to the students of expressing their thoughts on a printed page. There has .been n feeling of comradeship among the teaokers and pup Is which has helped to make the school a pb as ~nt place. The ho*T v voir has fceon a sue ce s from an athletic standpoint. It is true that we wore losers in the Madison C< unty Tournament, hut we wr-1 a victory ever the wfliners at the Northeast Georgia Tournament, tak ing third place in the end. The girls basketball team was sue Cessful, winning two *ut of four games nlayed . With few exceptions we feel that the year has been a successful one and we hope everyone will come hack and hhring someone with t- cm to help make next school year the big —- gest and best we have ever had.
