Any work a man is doing
If he’s square
Treat him fair
Tell him now.
Don't withhold your approbation
Till the preacher makes oration
As he l.es with snowy lillies o’er his
brow,
For no matter how you shout it
He won’t care a bk about it;
He won't know how many tears you
may have shed.
If you think some praise is due him
Now's the time to slip it to him,
For he cannot read his tombstone
when he’s dead.
More than fame and more than
money
Is a comment, kind and sunny
And the hearty warm approval of a
firiend,
For it gives to life a savor
And -it makes him stronger, braver
And it gives him heart and spirit to
the end.
If he earns your praise, bestow it
If you like him, let him know it
Let the words of true encouragement
be said.
Do not wait till life is over,
And he’s underneath the clover,
For he cannot nead his tombstone
when he’s dead.
Many children are considered
dull or negligent in schcol when the
trouble is entirely due to defective
eyes. Bring them in to our opto
metrist from the Chas. A. Green
Optical Company, Atlanta, and let
him see if your children need glass
es. He will be here again on Friday,
day, May 30.
