Quite a number from around here enjoyed commencement exercises at Ila Thursday and Friday nights. Miss Ruby Chandler spent Sunday with Misses Beatrice and Eva Lou Tiller. Miss Bertha Chandler was in Ila one day last week. Mr. Howard Settle left Sunday for Nashville, Tenn. from where he will go to Raleigh, N. C. where he will take up his work for the sum mer. We will miss him very much and hope he will be successful in all his undertakings. Mr. and Mrs. VV. I. Allen had as their guests Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Burroughs and’ family and Mrsi Roy Allen.
