Rev. .W. B. Jennings, pastor of the
First Presbyterian church, has, through
Ills attorneys. Messrs. Anderson.
Anderson, petitioned for an injunction
enjoining the Board of Education from
making an appropriation for the main

The petition has not yee been de

was sent, owing to his absence from
home, but it Is expected that he will
render a decision on Monday or Tues
day.
The public Is familiar with the
causes leading up to the petition, as
the Telegraph told some time ago of a
petition signed by a number of minis

Board of Education to refuse to make
further appropriations for the Fourth
street school and giving as their rea

ground fact the school was nat a de-

thought this disposed of the Question,

surprise to learn than Mr. Jennings
