THE ‘HUSTLER, TONIGHT.
Go Out and laugh—It Will Make You
Do So,.. • r-
Everyone who attends a farce com
edy entertainment goes to laugh. Davis
& Keogh's "Tile Hustler” has been the
greatest and most successful laugh
producer during the past four years.
This season they have increased 11s ca
pacity for mlrtli-roaklng fully 100 per
cent. This has been accomplished by
securing the latest novelties In vaude
ville specialties, songs, dances, parodies
Bud original farelaMjuelnoss, and em
ploying a large and remarkably com
petent company to present them. The
criticisms of the performance every
where it has been seen this year pro
nounce it the best on the road. Thu is
not a surprise, for “The Hustler' - has
si nays been regarded ns the leading
farce comedy production. The princi
pals this year are E. J. Tierney, E. J.
Heffernun. James P. Smith, James F.
Cook, Mary Watson, James Bradley,
Thomas H Humphries, Ernest Wilson,
M. C. Reynolds, Alice Hutchins, Irene
Hernandez, Mamie Mayo, Julia Taylor
and May V. Warren.
The performance of "The Hustler -
will begin at *:15 o’clock this evening
nt the Academy of Music.

the hallway of the house and Lizzie
struck Martha on the side of tho head
near the right eye with a piece of Iron,
Celling her tt> the floor, und gave her a
sound drubbing with her lists.
Lizzie was arrested and placed In the
city prison and Dr. Sullivan summoned
to repair Martha's head. He found the
Hkull fractured and an eye knocked out.
He did all that could he done at the
lime, 'but on account of the would
being badly swollen could not make a
complete diagnosis of the fracture. To
a Telegraph reoorter Dr. Sullivan stated
that he did not think Martha would die
from the effects of the wound, although
he could not speak positively until ne
bad -made a further examination. He
said the wound was very serious, how
ever, and there wos a probability of Its
CAUdinK death.
Lizzie was seen In the city prison by
s Telegraph reporter, to whom she free
ly talked about the affair. She said she
and LM.vrtha had a falling but one month
