CABLEGRAM
Sydney, Dec. 22.
Benjamin.
TRANSLATION.
Benjamin Bros, are manufacturers'
agents In Sydney. Australia. Greenhood
Is H. O. Greenhood, the exporter of 320
Sansomc 8t. San Francisco.
Concerning the report that cures for
Bright’s Disease and Diabetes have been
discovered In ffan Francisco, Benjamin
Bros, wrote Greenhood to send a small
order,' and If It really did the business
they would send an important order.
Tile Inal lot was sent.
The above cable Is tho reply. It did
tho business. They couldn’t wait for a
letter,-but cabled. Translated It calls for
immediate shipment of nearly
of Fulton’s Compounds for Brl*
Disease and Diabetes. The wholo world
Is waking up to the wonder of tho dls-
covory. You don’t have to cabin 6.000
miles. It’s right at your doors. Send for
literature. II. J. Lamar & Co., are
agents In Macon.
^When to- suspect Bright’s Disease—
weakness or loss of weight: puffy ankles,
hands or eyelids: dropsy: Kidney trouble
Oconee rivers will come In for at least*
half a million. It is estimated that
$200,000 spent on the Ocmulgee would
make navigation easy all the year, with
no danger of Interruptions by Ipw wa
ter.
Although no dredging has been done,
government boats have done a great
deal for the river In the way of snag
pulling and the construction of Jetties.
The appropriation for this work has
been practically exhausted.
If the next appropriation Is not suf
ficient to guarantee at least five foot
of water all the year, General Manager
Gamble Is of the opinion that the com
pany will have to Inaugurate an ox-
hange at Hawkingvlfe, using tho two
boats now in commission between that
point nnd Brunswick, while -others of
lighter draft will have to be construct
ed to handle the business Into Macon
during the dry season.
There Is nothing new’ In the terminal
situation beyond a report that tho
company may spend $30,000 or more In
the construction of Its town terminal
at Brunswick. Nothing definite as to
this proposition can be ascertained be
yond the fact that It has not yet
reached the board of directors.
Poultry Show in Gotham.
NEW YORK. Dec. 29—The exultant
crowing of cocks, tho constant cackle
of hens, tho cooing* of pigeons, the
quacking of ducks and all tho multitu
dinous noises of a thousand barnyards
combined In one echoed throughout
Madison Square Garden today, an
nouncing tho opening of tho twentieth
national exhibition of the New York
Poultry, Pigeon and Pet Stock Asso
ciation. Tomorrow tho mewing of
hundreds *or felines will be added to
the din of the fowls and birds, when
tho Atlanta Cat Club opens its sev^
enth annual championship show in the
concert hall of the garden.
This year’s show Is bigger than
ever before and there Is every indica
tion that the garden will bn crowded
every day until tho dose of tho exhi
bition Sntusiay evening. The annual
poultry show affords New Yorkers the
nearest approach to rural scenes nnd
noises of any cahibitlon of tho year
and Is always well patronized.
