Perhaps you have never given much con=
aideration to their purchase, but think for a minute of the long days
ihp little ones must spend in using them, and how nmh pleasme and
satisfaction it means if everything is just like they want it.
Something that does not suit is a keen dis=
appointment, and now is the time that your children are forming
habits and ideas that will have a great influence on their futures.
Failure to equip them with the proper supplies is an actual
handicap. . .
We have taken all of these features into consideration in buying
school supplies, and the children will receive the same prices, if
Cbey come alone, as you do.

Prosperity Depends on Crops.
Prosperity in the full measure
depends upon the results of this
year’s crops. Wheat, oats, corn,
cotton, the world noeda a full crop
of all these . It is generally con
ceded that this is the case and peo
ple in all lines of business realize
the fact. The men engaged in
various lines of business are now
looKing forward hopefully to a
greut harvest in all cases.
The tariff, which usually affects
all business when there is any
tampering going on with it, will
have but little influence this year.
The eyes of the wor d are turned
on America and the eyes of Amer
ica are turned Southward, looking
for the cotton belt to redeem the
nation; if indeedit can lie said
that it needs any redemption.
There can never be anything a
km to stagnant business condi
tions when thero is a great crop
yield at prices that must be paid
the coming season. Fortunately it
looks like there will be an abund
ant harvest when the time rolls
around this season. The out look
is brigh - in every sense of the word
and the indications throughout
this section are most flattering.
Debarring some great calamity
now unforseen it may be safely
predicted that the crops in this
section will measure well up to the
standard of highest record. The
Farmers are in condition to mar
ket their crops or hold them as
they see fit and this means that
the buyers of the world must pay
a good price or else do without the
produce and this will not suit the
average buyer in thn present con
dition of affairs.
But there are many obstacles
that may arise yet awhile, espec
ially with cotton and while it is
well to be looking to the future
with bright view, still it may not
be well to be too sanguine and,
therefore, just let’s depend on the
Lord of Harvest to send us plenty
and to spare, for surely out of His
bounty we may expect this from
the start and prospect already
shown by the bountiful hand of
nature itself. —Georgia Agricul
turist.

Arnica Salve that E. S. Loper,

ways carries. 7 ' I have never had a
cut, wound, bruise, or sore it
would not soon heal,” he writes.

scalds, chapped hands and lips,

number of tourists in Europe dur

formerly held this distinction.
