President Brown Issues a Card.
The Annual State Convention
of Farmers’ Union, held iu Macon,
Ga., in February, was the most
ent.hustic and progressive in its
history, was the concensus of op
inion of those who had be«»n ac
customed to attend these meet
mgs.
Beleiving there are many in
every section of the state who are
anxious to know' more about the
advancetfient of the Farmers Un
ion, we have planned to give them
such information as will, we hope,
induce many to enlist under our
•banner and help us fight our bat
tle under a flag which has inscrib
ed on its banner those things
which enable the farmers to pro- 1
tect their interests, namely: es
tablish justice, discourage the
credit and mortgage system, edu
cate the masses in scientific farm
ing, teach farmers the classifica
tion of farm products, and im
proved methods of farming, and
strive for harmony and good will
among all mankinkind.
We are very much interest
ed, just now in securing legisla
tion on the General Parcel Post
Bill. The Bill Prohibiting Gam
bling on Farm Products and the
Immigration Restriction Bill.
These Bills will affect all branches
of agriculture, and we believe the
enactment of these measures will
benefit every tiller of the soil. -
We believe in “Community In
terests” both in buying and sell
ing, and in this day of rural mail
and telephones how easy it could
be accomplished by co-operation,
and the Farmers Union is the
place for you to become a factor
to help promote such plans; as it
would tend to make the burden of
the farmer’s life pass more pleas
antly, and rural homes more at
tractive.
We are seeking the same busi
ness privileges as are accorded
other professions ; in reaching the
solutions of the problems that
confront us.
The signs of the times are
brightening and manhood and
patriotism is more apparent on
the horizen, and though the jour
ney may seem long and rugged, lets
all pull together to perfect the or
ganization.
We realize that “King Cotton”
has demoralized the country, and
it now' behooves us to plant less
cotton and more home supplies,
and once more there will be re
joicing in dear old Georgia.
Respectfully,
Lawson E. Brown, President.
Dandruff and Itching scaip Yield to Zemo
Treatment.
Why should you continue to ex
periment with salves, greasy lo
tions and fancy hair dressing try
ing to rid your scalp of germ life?
They can’t do it because they can
not penetrate to the seat of the
trouble aud draw the germ life to
the surface of the scalp and destroy
it.
Why not try a proven remedy?
One that will do this. We have
a remedy that will rid the scalp of
germ life and in this way wlil cure
dandruff and itching scalp.
This remedy is Zemo
a clean. refined, penetrating
scalp tonic that goes right to the
seat of the trouble and drives the
germ life to the surface and de
stroys it.
A shampoo with Zemo antisep
tic soap and one application of Ze
mo w'ill entirely rid the scalp of
dandruff and scurf. Do not hesi
tate, but get a bottle of Zemo to
day, It acts on a new principle
and will do exactly what we claim
for it.
