GOD NEEDED HER
As a flower is broken down,
As a lily is put to sleep,
So was our Darling Mother taken
And buried, Oh, so deep.
But God needed another angel
To fill a certain place,
And He saw the truth and purity,
In our Darling Mother’s face.
So He took her up to heaven,
With angels there to live.
We must try to do without her,
But she was so hai’d to give.
We’ll try to live a clean, pure life,
So in heaven we can meet,
Then there we can live together,
In the land of God so sweet.
Written by her Children,
Dedicated to Mrs. Pearl Lynn.

SNAPBEANS TO BE SHIPPED
FROM PA VO, GEORGIA
THOMASVILLE, Ga. Reports
'from Pavo are to the effect that the
shipment of snapbeans from ‘that ter
ritory will begirt next week and as
there are just 700 acres planted in
these beans a considerable number
will be sent out from there. Pavo
has recently been making a record
for the shipment of turnip greens
but with the season for them waning
it will be followed up with snap
beans and the appetite of the public
for these beans should have an op
portunity to be satisfied, especially
as there are other sections of
Thomas County preparing to ship
beans also.
