The purpose of this County Fair is the advancement of the
welfare of all the people in Toombs County.
GENE!' \L RULES.
Exhibitors are requested fi’c applications for space as
early as possible.
Except as otherwise provided, all exhibits must be in pface
and fully installed by 12 o’clock '.••non, October 7th, 1924.
No exhibit can be removed !' ~ni fair grounds before 12
o’clock noon, Saturday, October V unless permission is granted
by the President of the Fair Assoc'alion.
Exhibitors must be bona fide owners of the exhibits and
must be residents of Toombs County.
The Fair will open at 12 o’clock noon, October 7th, 1914.
The Fair Association wil furnish guards who will be on
duty day and night, and every reasonable precaution will be tak
en to insure the safety of the exhibits, but the Association will in
no ase, be responsible for oss or damage that may occur to
exhibits.
No exhibitor must in any way interfere with the judges. A
violation of this rule wil! bar the exhibit from competing.
Where there is only one entry for a prize, the ribbon will be
awarded according to the decision of the judges. No unworthy
exhibit will be awarded a prize.

COMMUNITY DISPLAY.
The Community Exhibits shall consist of exhibits of the best
articles and products grown or made in the community exhibiting.
The following points shall be used in judging community exhibits:
50 points for arrangement, 50 points on agriculture, variety and
home industry. Any community in the county can compete.

AGRICULTURAL EXHIBITS
Best individual farm booth. This is to be agiicultura 1 pro
ducts exhibited by a farmer or his wife and to be composed of
farm products originated or owned on his farm and grouped into
a booth. Space for these will be set off by the fair association
on request from any farmer. They will be judged on the follow
ing: 50 points on attractiveness and orginality of booth; 50 points
on the number, variety and quality of the articles in the exhjbit.

BOYS JUDGING CONTEST
Any club boy may compete. A class of hogs and one of
dairy cattle will be judged.

BOYS COTTON CLUB CONTEST
Each boy must show one stalk of cotton from his acre and his
record boo*k at the county fair.
First prize—Grand Championship Cotton G üb. Free trip to the
State College of Agriculture, Athens, Ga., given by
2nd. $10.00; 3rd. $8.00; 4th. $5.00; sth. $4.00; 6th. $3.00; 7th.
$2.00 and SI.OO for every boy ghotving complete record book and
one stalk, but not winning a prize.
BOYS CORN CLUB CONTEST
Each boy must show 10 ears of corn from his acre, and his
record book, at the County Fair.
First Prize—Grandchampionship Corn Club. Free Trip to State
College of Agriculture, Athens, Ga., given by two banks of Lyons.
2nd. $10.00; 3rd. $8.00; 4th. $5.00; sth. $4.00; 6th. $3.00; 7th.
