The platform, if the Telegraph's predic
tion is verified will be all right. It would
be all sufficient, to and Democras of
every shade ought to be able to unite on
it, as there would be nothing to quibble
and split hairsover. As for the candidate,
no Democrat who wants to see his party
win will urge any objection to Parker
if it shall appear, when the convention
meets at St. Louis, that the Democrats of
New York are united on him and can
curry their state for him in November,—
